Our Projects

The Canadian Boreal Initiative works with partners across the boreal diaspora to bring about true stewardship of Canada's Boreal Forest. These collaborations allow CBI to engage in a wide variety of engagements.

Since its inception, CBI has been involved in the writing and the publication of various reports, in the analysis and the intervention in draft laws and government studies, and in the implementation of projects for better management of northern territory.

Across Canada, projects are evolving, such as the Plan Nord in Quebec, mining issues in British Columbia, and the Canadian Boreal Forest Agreement, among others.
